This pendant features vintage coral, shaped into a soft trapezoid and set with a subtle ruby accent. Finished on an oxidized mixed-link chain, the piece balances organic texture with a quiet industrial edge.
Design:
I work with vintage coral that was collected years ago, giving it new life. All of the coral cutting is done in the studio with lapidary equipment.
Both the coral and ruby are bezel set. My custom bezels are handmade specifically for each individual stone. The key features of my bezels are the hand cut notches that are placed asymmetrically into the bezel as an added signature detail. The stone is completely surrounded on all sides by metal. It’s the most secure and stable setting.
