These earrings are made from sterling silver and 18k yellow gold.

The metalwork on these earrings are hollow form sterling silver elements. This allows them to be lighter weight. 18k yellow gold pieces are soldered onto the silver forms to compliment and enhance the shapes. 18k gold wire nestles in the coral fins as an added special detail.

I work with vintage coral collected years ago, giving it a new life. All of the coral cutting is done in the studio with lapidary equipment.

The coral pieces are bezel set. My custom bezels are handmade specifically for each individual stone. The key features of my bezels are the hand cut notches that are placed asymmetrically into the bezel as an added signature detail. The stone is completely surrounded on all sides by metal. It’s the most secure and stable setting, great for everyday wear.

These earrings have an oxidized sterling silver Post and Back.
