This is the absolute largest piece of coral I have ever worked with! A true statement piece and a magnificent chunk of oceanic history, the striking natural texture of the coral is powerfully contrasted by the dark, heavy oxidized sterling silver. After reworking and simplifying the design to let the materials truly shine, the results are breathtakingly bold.
We work exclusively with vintage coral collected years ago, hand-cutting it right in the studio using traditional lapidary equipment. The massive coral focal is fully surrounded by a custom handmade bezel featuring signature asymmetrical hand-cut notches. In a feat of master engineering, the blue topaz is bezel-set and perfectly tube-riveted straight through the coral and the silver back. It appears to be magically floating, yet it is incredibly secure and stable.
